The story

A young mermaid Ariel (Halle Bailey) gets in a Faustian bargain and trades her melodious voice in exchange of legs, with the hope of meeting her prince charming Eric (Jonah Hauer-King) on the land. A live-action remake of the animated Disney classic from 1989.
