The story

The Sandman follows Dream (Tom Sturridge) who is the personification of dreams and stories, on a mission to restore order in his Kingdom of Dreaming. Dream has been held captive since 1916 by a group of black magic occultists. Now that he’s finally free he must oversee and influence the dreaming and storytelling for every living being in the universe.
